Anti-Cellulite Wood Therapy

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is the condition presented as small dimples, bumps and skin irregularities, usually localised to the stomach, thighs and buttocks.

It’s a condition that affects 90 percent of women.  From 25 to 35 years of age is when you start seeing the appearance of cellulite.

What are the causes of cellulite?

  • Hormonal factors: Hormones such as estrogen, insulin, noradrenaline, thyroid hormones, and prolactin are believed to play a role in the development of cellulite.
  • Genetics: Genetic factors can influence the likelihood of developing cellulite, including factors such as ethnicity, metabolism, circulatory levels, and genetic predisposition to cellulite.
  • Diet: People who eat a lot of carbohydrates, fat, and salt, and don’t get enough fiber, may have a higher risk of developing cellulite.
  • Lifestyle factors: Cellulite is more common in people who don’t exercise regularly, and it can be more noticeable if you stand or sit for long periods of time.

Grades of cellulite

Cellulite’s appearance can be classified into the following groups, or grades:

  • Grade 0: No dimpling when pressure is applied
  • Grade 1: Dimpling when pressure is applied
  • Grade 2: Visible dimpling when standing, but not when lying down
  • Grade 3: Visible dimpling when standing and lying down

Anti-cellulite treatment

Anti-cellulite Wood Therapy is a treatment with anatomically designed wooden instruments, which make the therapy 100% natural without allergic reactions to the skin. The advantage of using specially designed wooden instruments is to enable intense pressure on fibrous cellulite.

The toxins are removed through the lymphatic system, through the urine. The aftercare is crucial in getting the desired results.

The treatments last 60 – 90 minutes, depending on the area that is being targeted. It is recommended to have the treatment at least once a week. This treatment often required changes in lifestyle and the follow of the proper aftercare: daily exercise, a change to healty diet, drinking 2-3 litres of water daily.

Areas treated

Our treatments are on areas:

  • Full body: belly, waist, back, arms, legs and buttocks
  • Upper body: belly, waist, back and arms
  • Lower body: legs and buttocks,  and lymphatic drainage on the belly
  • Facial wood therapy -> see more
Please note the tools are not used on bones, such as knees, shins, spine and ribcage.

How does the treatment look like?

The treatment is a dynamic, non invasive, and not painful treatment that aims cellulite reduction, circulation boost and activation of the lymphatic system.

The fast movements are affecting the connective tissue (fibrous septae) and restore them by activating the natural production of collagen. Wood therapy drains all accumulated toxins from the fat cells into lymphatic system which cleans it and eliminates it from the body together with urinary system.

Please note cellulite is not fat, it is a dimpled appearance cause by connective tissue pulling down the skin. We do not have fat reduction treatments available.

Recommendations regarding treatments

Wood therapy results are visible after several treatments in people with a faster metabolism and with soft celluilte grade 1, with following the proper aftercare. In people with persistent cellulite and slower metabolism, and hard cellulite grades 2 and 3, the number of treatments increases. Results also may vary depending on lifestyle and taking particular medications or contraception pills.

For clients with hormonal imbalance, it is recommended to check the hormones first before starting anti-cellulite treatments.

It is necessary to follow our recommendations to make the results of anti-cellulite treatments more successful:

  1. Increase fluid intake to 2-3 liters per day. The body needs to get rid of toxins after each treatment.
  2. Healthy diet. It is necessary to keep the healthy diet in the process of cellulite elimination. Increase fruit and vegetable intake, decrease or eliminate fast food, sugar, and processed food.
  3. Daily exercise.

Compression boots as an addition to your treatment
